Quick DIY Oil Blends and Formula Guide


Compiled here below are quick oil mixes you can conjure up.

Just adjust the parts if you are cooking for a bigger portion. :)

BUG REPELLENT

  • 1 drop lemongrass
  • 1 drop thyme
  • 1 drop eucalyptus
  • 1 drop basil

IMMUNE BOOSTER

  • 1 drop eucalyptus
  • 1 drop cinnamon
  • 1 drop rosemary
  • 1 drop clove
  • 1 drop wild orange

 

STRESS

  • 2 drops lavender
  • 1 drop clary sage
  • 1 drop ylang ylang or lemon oil
  • carrier oil optional

SLEEP

  •  35 drops of lavender
  • 15 drops of roman chamomile
  • 22 drops of marjoram
  • 15 drops bergamot
  • 3 drops ylang ylang
  • 3 drops valerian root

SLEEP v.2

  • 6 drops lavender
  • 8 drops frankincense
  • 4 drops sweet orange

COMMON COLDS AND FLU

  • 5 drop eucalyptus
  • 5 drops tea tree
  • 6 drops sweet orange

 

FEVER

 Take your favorite carrier oil, add peppermint and eucalyptus. Apply to forehead, soles of the feet and back of the neck, every 15 minutes.

ALLERGIES

  • 5 to 15 drops of lemon
  • 5 to 15 drops of lavender
  • 5 to 15 peppermint

 

MASSAGE OILS

Body Massage

  • 2 drops vanilla
  • 3 drops jasmine
  • 8 drops sandalwood
  • 1 ounce of carrier oil such as grapeseed or sweet almond or apricot

  • 4 drops rosemary
  • 1 ounce of carrier oil such as grapeseed or sweet almond or apricot
